Stephen Pfister EDIT 5370 Module 1

Hello, class! I’m Stephen Pfister and I live in Austin, TX, where I manage a Front End Development team at Kasasa. I have worked for Kasasa for eight years. Before that, I worked as an e-learning Course Developer at PureSafety in Nashville, TN and as a Flash Developer at Dealerskins. Prior to my work in the tech industry, I worked in restaurant and bar management. I currently hold an Associate of Applied Science in Visual Arts (Ivy Tech) and a Bachelor of Science in Art with Interactive Media Design (University of Southern Indiana).

I grew up in Indiana, before moving to Nashville, TN. After living in Nashville for 6 years, I moved to Austin, TX. In my spare time, I enjoy kayaking, camping, hiking, songwriting, playing music, and spending time with my pit/boxer mix, Sam.

Three unique things:
1. I have a diverse career/education background. Restaurant/Bar work for a decade, and now tech industry for a decade. Programming, managing, designing and studio art background.
2. In my spare time, I write and perform songs.
3. I like to go nighttime hiking.
